Plan B is an agency in the heart of Barcelona that provides a specialized representation of cinematographers worldwide. Our company has been operating for seventeen years, representing an exclusive selection of international Directors of Photography; a carefully selected list of highly-skilled, accomplished specialists in cinematography.

We like to collaborate closely with Producers and Directors seeking talents for their projects by helping them find the cinematographer who best suits their productions.

The cinematographers we represent have received recognition and many awards at the highest level of International Film & Advertising Festivals, including the Oscar Academy Awards, the BAFTAs, the Goyas, Ariel, Cannes, and Camerimage.

The team is headed up by Blanca Aysa.


Blanca Aysa

Blanca Aysa was born in 1963 in Palma de Mallorca. In 1986 she moved to England, where she lived until 1993 working as a flight attendant for British Airways. In 1993 she returned to Spain and started to work for the Press Department at the Formula 1 Grand Prix. In 1994 she joined Estudio Mariscal as head of Press and Communications.

In the year 2000, Blanca traveled to Los Angeles where she did an internship with RIA Images Agency. She returned to Barcelona in 2001 to set up her own agency for directors of photography: Plan B, one of the first agencies of this kind in Spain.

The Directors of Photography that Planb represents have received recognition and awards at the highest levels of the industry from international film, music video and advertising festivals. Successes include awards at the Oscars, BAFTA, the Goyas, UKMVA, Ciclope, and Camerimage.

Blanca has been chosen more than once to be part of the jury in highly recognized international festivals such as Berlin Commercial Awards, NY AICP Awards (Association of Independent Commercial Producers) and UKMVA (UK Music Video Awards).

Marta Capdevila
Agent’s Assistant

Marta has been Blanca’s assistant since July 2015, helping with bookings and accountings. She studied image and sound at Centre Calassanç in Barcelona, then continued her studies in audio post-production while simultaneously developing her career as a film editor.

She specialized in animation and has collaborated on numerous animation projects, from editing animatics for further animation, to the final broadcast delivery to TV, as well as a wide range of production tasks in a lot of TV projects.

Currently, she combines her work at Plan B with freelance work in various productions.
