Dani is from Barcelona. As his father was a painter, Dani’s artistic gaze was nurtured from a very early age by visiting museums and contemplating paintings. From his mother, a psychologist, Dani inherited his understanding of the importance of listening and teamwork, skills he has applied to his work with numerous directors with whom he has collaborated, and various production departments.

Dani completed his studies in Cinematography at ESCAC and was awarded a prize at the prestigious Camerimage Festival for his degree project. Since then, he hasn’t stopped working on fiction, documentary, and advertising projects. He is young, full of energy, and fully committed to every project he is involved in, feeling most alive when he is making quick decisions through the viewfinder. Dani demands a lot of himself and loves to be challenged and to overcome obstacles: however complex a director’s suggestion may be, Dani would never think of just saying “No,” outright.

Dani sees every project as a whole universe and is constantly looking for new ways of expressing himself in the world of photography. He quotes Sven Nykvist; “You learn something new from every film, and I would wish to die curious”
