From the moment Unax first picked up a camera he knew that it would be with him forever, that this would become his way of life. He decided to train as a director of photography while he gained as much work experience as possible becoming part of the camera department on various productions and taking on any film project that came up. He soon realised the power that images had to complement the narrative of a story, and he remains obsessed with finding the perfect image for every project, be it a feature film, a short or a single frame.

Photography imbues every aspect of Unax’s life, as he carefully notes everything that goes on around him, observing the way the light plays upon different places and objects and using his work as a way of capturing those fleeting images that make him, and his co-workers, smile.
