Nikita Popkov is a cinematographer based in Riga, Latvia. Mainly working in a format of film productions like narrative, fashion, music videos, and commercials.
He has been interested in filmmaking since high school. He graduated from RISEBA University in Riga with a degree in cinematography. After graduating from the university, he actively began to shoot commercials and music videos, experimenting and trying to form an understanding of his own vision of the image.
Nikita is constantly looking for ideas and tries to play with color, light and texture of the image.
