Thais Català studied Cinematography at the University of Barcelona, ESCAC, completing her studies in 2013. Since 2014, she has been working as a Director of Photography. Currently, Thais shoots commercials, music videos, and fiction projects. She also occasionally works as an Underwater Operator with the equipment of Txema Vega Underwater Film Service.

Thais values small details and believes that the art of photography has the power to highlight them. Through her work, she aims to find beauty everywhere, simply by changing the point of view.
